Mayor Thomas L. Rouse and Erlanger City Council recognized the winners of City Government Month at the Erlanger City Council Meeting on April 6, 2010. St. Henry Elementary and Miles Elementary participated. Kindergarten through Third Grades participated in a coloring contest that depicted City Officials and Employees. Fourth Grade classes participated by writing essays on Kentucky history. Fifth Grade classes wrote essays on controversial City Ordinances.
Each class that participated had a first, second, and third place winner that received a ribbon. A certificate from State Representative Adam Koenig will be given to all participants. Those participants who attended the meeting were also recognized as a group. The teachers were thanked and introduced to Mayor, Council, and audience. They received an Images of America Elsmere and Erlanger history book.
