Administration Department hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The City Clerk's Office strives to ensure that city government remains accesible to the people and efficient.

Melissa Andress is the Director of Administration/City Clerk for the City of Erlanger. This position holds many responsibilities; maintaining official records, attesting to official actions of City Council, administering property taxes, overseeing Human Resources, and much more:

Responsible for the management of all official City of Erlanger records
Acts as the custodian of the seal of the City
Prepares / Coordinates / Maintains departmental annual budget
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Administrative employees
Coordinates activities in order to provide services with minimum delay and optimum efficiency and accuracy
Plans, assigns, and directs work
Appraises performance; rewards and disciplines employees
Addresses complaints and resolves problems
Director of Human Resources
Coordinates and maintains liability insurance

Melissa Andress came to the City of Erlanger in March 2007 as the Assistant City Clerk. She was promoted to Director of Administration/City Clerk in December 2007. Prior to that she served as the City Clerk for the City of Elsmere.
