Tyson Hermes was elected Mayor of Erlanger in November 2014, and is currently serving his first term. He is a husband, father, business owner, builder, ski instructor, and beekeeper. He is a graduate of
Covington Latin School and the University of Cincinnati. He has served on the Bioethics Committee for Children's Hospital of Cincinnati for over 10 years, and has served on executive committees for The
Children's Home of Northern Kentucky, St. Barbara Church, and St. Henry Church. He has also enjoyed serving in leadership roles of his sons' Cub Scout packs for six years.
Tyson and his family enjoy living in the quiet neighborhood of Brightleaf Estates, and are parishioners of St. Barbara Church.
Some of Tyson's favorite things about Erlanger are its deep history with the train line, its convenience to everything including restaurants and entertainment, Flagship Park, and its excellent Public Services,
Police Department, and Fire Department/ EMS.
