The Democratic and Republican Representatives for the Kenton County Board of Elections are now accepting applications for poll workers for the General Election on Tuesday, November 8, 2011.
A poll worker must be 18 years of age or older, reside in Kenton County and be a registered voter in Kenton County on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8th. Workers must report to their assigned polling place by 5:15 a.m. The polls are open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Poll workers are also required to take a two hour training session prior to the election. There are multiple training sessions during the week of October 17th through the 20th. Times are listed on the County Clerk's website at www.kentoncounty.org.
Workers receive $20.00 for training and $125.00 for working the day of the election.
